I've been 3 times. I absolutely love their food! Everything is flavored so well. They're clean, kind, and the service is great. No complaints!

Definitely 5 star worthy. Service, quality, quantity, ambience, freshness, and flavors were all top notch. The tandoori fish was amazing. Rack of lamb was just perfect. Ordered too much food. Will enjoy it for the next 2 days. A little too far for us but will definitely go back. Thank you for a great dinner.

The best Indian food I have ever tasted! Covid precautions being followed.. but, more importantly let me talk about the food!!--- The Lentil Daal and appetizers (Fried Paneer in Chick pea flour) the goat cheese naan and garlic naan -omg to die for!!! The presentation alone was enough for me to tell you to order it, but please for the flavors and for all that is holy and (if you're like me unholy😉 ) order it! The garden salad is huge!- enough for 2-3 to share and so fresh and crisp! And everything is seasoned perfectly- there is a reason you won't find salt and pepper on the tables!!

This place is very rude and very unsanitary. They have an ant problem. Instead of acknowledging there were ants in my food they tried to tell me its suppose to have them in it like a spice as if the manager could try and fool me to think it was normal. I know better I called the ants for what they are ...in the food. GROSS DONT GO HERE

The food here is AMAZING! I've gone twice now and both times were 5 star experiences. The best Indian food in the area, hands down. Also, the service is really good. The manager is very hands on with customer service and offering new things. They also have a nice wine list and the prices are reasonable. The food, service, and dining experience make it worth every penny. We'll be back again and again!

My favorite is the chicken tikka masala but my brother will say his favorite is the butter chicken. I don't even need rice with these items, but it does make the meal a lot better. I prefer Naan bread, excuse me, garlic Naan. Like most folks on here, these are the go to...and they do not disappoint. Serve was excellent.

We have been to Clay a few times and do enjoy the food. Service can be inconsistent, but not a big deal. The samosas are always good to get you going. Our kids love the sag paneer and dal makhani (which comes with a dollop of butter you can mix in). The bhindi masala is also quite good - with lots of onions. You won't go wrong with the butter chicken either. The dishes come with rice at no extra cost. You should try the spinach paratha, it is nice and crispy.

Good Indian food in Vacaville. Which was surprising to us. With this being a small town. Tucked in front of a hotel and unassuming. Great service. Plenty of outdoor seating. Flavorful food, good portions.

The food here is decent. And nothing out of the ordinary. The combo veg appetizers and chai tea was good. Malai kofta and goat curry was decent. The biryani felt more like pulav. But overall the service was quick and efficient. They should make the curries little more authentic.

I went with my friend. It was the best I've ever tasted. Price is great and positions are big. The waiter was fast, polite and very helpful. I've always wantes to try this place. I'm glad I finely got the chance. I highly recommend this place. I will be returning again.

Incredible north indian cuisine here. Definitely one of the very best in the Bay Area. Don't miss this place!

This is one of my husbands and I favorite places for date night for their amazing bar selection. The couple time we have been here it’s been really enjoyable —food is always delicious. (We order prawn tika masala level 2-3 and 2 orders of Garlic Naan)

Enjoyed the Curry. Fresh chicken, well prepared. An interesting building too! Staff seemed a bit surly at first, but were very nice as service started. Very attentive.

They serve delicious Indian food. My wife and I like Tikka Masala, Korma and Chicken Tandoori the most. Rest of my family prefer Coconut curry and get Jalfrezi sometimes. Lamb is my favorite protein and I like spicy food and order the spiciest level but it seems mild to medium spicy in my opinion.

What a great first impression. I discovered Clay Oven on the drive from Oregon to SF, conveniently located right off the 80 and 505 intersection. The food was excellent along with some craft beers and great service. I ordered the Lamb Saagwala spicy, the meat was super tender and the spice level was perfect. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Good Indian food, naan is fresh and delicious. The curry has great flavor. Really good drinks as well.

The food was great. The drinks were equally as good. Overall great experience. This place has quality food and most importantly quality service. Our server/waiter was so sweet, he very much deserved a fat tip.

The staff is very good and takes pride in their food. The restaurant is clean and very nice. Food is fantastic.

I have really enjoyed eating here, the food is very good, and so is the service. I have been here twice with a large group, and they were accommodating. It was not a problem for all 10-15 of us to each have individual tickets. The food is not all that spicy, but spicy enough to be satisfied, if you like spicy food. They also have a good selection of alcohol, if you like cocktails.

What a pleasant spot conveniently located right off the freeway. The place was super clean, staff were friendly and efficient. Food was tasty, but not spectacular. Great value, super affordable. I'll be back!

Very nice experience overall. Food was delicious and was delivered quickly. There plenty of it also. The only issue is probably that initially service was slow. After about 10 minute wait before the table was recognized everything went very smooth. Definitely worth a try, just might have to be a little patient at first.

First of all I want to say that is a very nice restaurant, friendly staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. They were very courteous, and immediately sat down. Now let's get to the good part.... the food. I have to say that I was blown away with the samosas, visually stunning, crunchy flaky, buttery and somehow not greasy at all, the 3 sauces that accompanied the delicious samosas were very tasty, I couldn't pick one because they're all were spot on! As far as the main course let me tell you, they dont shy away in portions. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was super tasty. The rice had the perfect texture and the garlic Naan bread was just delicious, a perfect companion to the main course. The drinks from the bar were also satisfying and very good.

Food was excellent. The service was very good. We had chicken and vegetarian dishes as well as two types of bread and fried chicken wings appetizer and everything was excellent. If you are in vacaville and have not come in here yet you are missing out. Do yourself a favor and try clay oven as soon as possible.

We decided to go to this restaurant on our way back from a family ski trip. We loved it! Everything was super fresh, tasty and service was awesome! Their paneer sizzler is really good. This is going to be our go up place during the ski season!

Outstanding food! I stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling. The food was amazing. They had some of the best Indian food I have had in a while . The food was fresh and the spices used delicious. It is clear they take a great deal of pride in the food they put out.

I'd be willing to say that this is the best Indian restaurant in the area by far. Food is excellent and vegetarian options are plenty. Sometimes service is a bit slow, but it's a great experience otherwise.

I cannot believe I had not gave this place a chance! This is some of the best food I've ever tasted. I can say that I absolutely love Indian food now. I tried random stuff and none of it failed me. I tried the coconut chicken curry and the veggie samosas. On top of the delicious food the waiter "Niten" was very kind, patient, and charismatic. I will definitely be going back soon and thanks to this place it opened up new doors for me.
